Intelligent matching for therapist fit

Find a therapist who fits more than your location.

Share what matters. See why a therapist may be worth considering before you reach out.

You choose what to share. Personal context stays private unless you decide to make an enquiry.
Therapists control profile facts. Public, matching-only, private, sensitive, and operational fields stay separate.
Built with practice input. Therapair is shaped with Unison Mental Health and Prequel Experience Design.
An enquiry, not a referral. Therapair is not crisis care, diagnosis, treatment advice, or a suitability guarantee.

Melbourne-first beta. Client access opens in stages so supply quality and handoff standards can be checked.

Therapist-approved facts. Profiles are designed around what therapists control, not scraped or invented claims.

No paid placement. Matching should explain possible fit and gaps to confirm, not sell top positions.

Australian privacy focus. Sensitive health information needs consent and care. Read the Privacy Policy or trust and limits.

What Therapair does

A clearer way to decide who to contact first.

Therapair helps make first contact more informed. It does not replace clinical judgement, emergency care, or the conversation between a client and therapist.

Therapair helps with

  • Fit preferences, including communication style, values, access needs, and practical constraints.
  • Richer therapist-controlled profiles that explain how someone works.
  • Shortlists with plain-language reasons and questions to confirm.
  • A private enquiry handoff where the client chooses what to share next.

Therapair does not provide

  • Crisis care or emergency response.
  • Diagnosis, treatment advice, or therapy.
  • A guarantee that a therapist is available or suitable.
  • Paid ranking in matching results.
How matching works

A practical sequence, not a black box.

The product is designed around what a client can share, what a therapist has approved, and what still needs to be checked before first contact.

  1. 01

    Share what matters

Example: "I prefer a direct style, telehealth after work, and someone comfortable discussing neurodivergence."

  2. 02

    Richer therapist profiles

Therapists describe their approach, session style, focus areas, boundaries, and what should stay private.

  3. 03

    See your possible matches

You see reasons based on profile facts, plus missing details to confirm before you contact anyone.

  4. 04

    Reach out privately

You choose who to contact and what to include. Results are not a guarantee and are not pay-to-rank.

Synthetic therapist cards

A shortlist should feel personal without pretending to know everything.

These cards reuse the current sandbox therapist profiles. They are examples of how Therapair can explain style, fit evidence, and what still needs to be confirmed.

The public site should label demo data clearly. Real practitioner facts must come from therapist-approved profile fields before appearing in public matching surfaces.

Fit Profile

A therapist profile should say more than location and modality.

Therapair is built around therapist-controlled profiles so fit signals can guide matching without turning every detail into public copy.

Public

Approved details clients can read before enquiring.

Matching-only

Signals that guide fit but do not need to appear as profile copy.

Private

Information kept out of client-facing views.

Sensitive

Optional identity, values, or lived-context fields that need explicit control.

Operational

Admin and handoff fields used to route enquiries responsibly.

Choose your path

The same fit model serves different jobs.

Clients need a calmer way to compare therapists. Therapists need profile control. Practices need governed routing across a team.

Providers: request early access

For individual therapists, sole practitioners, and people representing a practice or team. Register interest now; the private preview link is sent after confirmation when it is relevant.

Helps us tailor follow-up; it does not change your eligibility for early access.

Optional: Help shape Therapair

Your feedback is valuable. Take part in a short 6-8 minute survey to help us improve the experience and matching flow.

Completely optional. You can still register interest and receive next steps by email.

Representing a practice or team? You can still use this form - or open the practice-focused page if you prefer that flow.
